Please read the following carefully
1) Petit-Paradise the property is offered for holiday rental subject to confirmation by Charles and Chris De Decker (The Owners ) to the renter ( The client )
2) To reserve one of the available gites , the client must complete and sign the bookingform and return it together with payment of the deposit ," 25 % of the total rent due" . Following receipt of the bookingform and the deposit, the owners will send a written confirmation together with an invoice. This is a formal acceptance for the booking.The remaining balance of the rent is payable no later than 8 weeks prior to the start of the rental period. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the rental period require full payment in time of booking.
3) A security deposit of 300 euros is required to cover expenses incurred by the owners as a result of the occupancy is to cover any damages to the gites and its content , shortages against inventory and the pool. However , the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the client's liability to the owner.The owners will account to the client for the security deposit and refund the balance within 1 week after the end of the rental period.
4) The client agrees to be a reasonable tenant and to take good care of the gite(s) and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period.Although a final cleaning for the following clients is included in the price , the owners reserve the right to make a deduction from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs should the client leave the gite(s) in an unacceptable condition.
5) In the event of a cancellation, refunds of amount paid will be made if the owners are to re-let the gite(s) and any expenses or losses incurred in so doing will be deducted from the amount. We recommend that the client arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy .
6) The rental period shall commence Saturday 16.00 pm arrival and finish Saturday 10.00 am leaving.The owners shall be obliged to make the gite(s) available before the time stated and the client will not be entitled to remain in the occupation after the time stated.
7) The maximum number of occupants residents in the gite(s) must not exceed the number stated on the bookingform unless previously agreed in writing by the owners.
8) The client shall report to the owners without delay any defects in the gite(s) or breakdown in the equipment , or appliances in the gite(s) , garden or swimming pool, and arrangements for repairs or replacement will be made as soon as possible.
9) The client agrees to be a considerate tenant, to take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period.The client also agrees not to act in any way witch would cause disturbance to the residents in neighbouring properties.
10) The owners shall not be liable to the client for ; Any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property, nor in respect of any equipment machinery or appliance in the gite(s) , garden or swimmingpool.
11) Any loss , damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions riot , war , strikes or other matters is beyond the control of the owners .
12) Any loss , damage or inconvenience caused by the client if the property shall by destroyed or substantial damage before the start of the rental period and in any such event , the owner shall , within ten days of notification to the client, refund to the client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.
13) Under no circumstances shall the owners liability to the client exceed the amount paid for the rental period.
14) Use of the unsupervised pool is at risks of the client and the members of is or her party. Under no circumstances shall the owner be responsible for any loss , damage or injury. The supervision of children playing in or near the pool is the sole responsibility of the parents or guardian.
15) Smoking is not permitted in the gite(s) . You can always smoke outside but put out your cigarettes in a ashtray.
16)We can't except animals.
